Remote Tax Accountant Job in UK VAme Ltd

Who you are

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a full-cycle accounting role
• Proficient with QuickBooks Online QuickBooks Accountant and QuickBooks Pro Tax
• Experience with preparation and filing of Canadian tax returns especially T2 corporate tax filings
• Ability to independently prepare and file annual year-end submissions to the CRA
• Capable of signing off on engagements and performing compilations
• Knowledge or experience with T1 personal tax returns and T5 filings is an asset
• Must have own device and workspace with a strong internet connection
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Responsive with high follow-through skills capable of taking ownership of tasks and projects
• Tech-savvy comfortable working in a virtual environment
• A personable and coachable individual confident in leading virtual client meetings via Zoom

What the job involves

• Manage full-cycle accounting processes including preparation and filing of Canadian tax returns T2 corporate tax filings
• Independently prepare and submit year-end financial statements to the CRA
• Sign off on engagements and perform compilations as required
• Utilize QuickBooks Online QBO QuickBooks Accountant and QuickBooks Pro Tax for managing financial records and tax filings
• Provide expertise in preparing T1 personal tax returns and T5 filings as needed
• Maintain strong communication with clients through Zoom providing exceptional service and support
• Meet deadlines consistently while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
