- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or business preferred
- 1 year of related financial planning experience preferred
- CPA, CFP or Enrolled Agent certification a plus
- Strong analytical/problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to clearly articulate and discuss financial planning concepts

What the job involves
- Provides remote tax counseling on several topics including retirement planning, education funding, benefit plans, and general tax planning
- Serves as a knowledge resource on tax planning, compliance, and administration topics, this may include conducting research
- Builds trusted relationships with clients by providing a quality experience, without engaging in product sales
- Ability to explain and discuss 1099 forms and reporting cost basis
- Provides excellent customer service via the phone in a remote call center environment
