Who you are
Bachelor’s degree in life science or related subject and a proven track record of applied use in the field
At least 3 years of experience in leading sales teams
Proven experience in sales in the industry with demonstration of strategic plans that have been successful
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Analytical and strategic thinking abilities
Knowledge of CRM software and sales analytics tools
Positive outlook and ability to inspire talented individuals
UK Driving License
Willingness to travel as required within UK and across Europe up to 50%
Open to working flexible hours as required

What the job involves
Directly managing a sales team, providing coaching, motivation mentorship, feedback, and performance evaluations to team members to enhance their skills and development
Setting sales goals and targets for the team, according to the assigned territory and be in line with the company strategy
Leading, disciplinary and professionally the assigned Sales team, in particular promotion and further development of employees with relevant skills
Coordinating sales activities that have touching points with other business units
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth
Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for new business and market penetration
Understand the portfolio of instruments and approaches to leverage business with existing and new customers across the Biotech, Academic, Pharmaceutical, CRO and commercial partners
Identify and participate in key exhibitions, on site innovation strategies and prospecting opportunities
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners and third-party vendors
Drive account penetration to promote repeat business and achieve preferred supplier or key account status
Identify new business opportunities, mechanisms for harnessing new accounts and expanding the existing customer base
Resolve customer concerns and issues in a timely and effective manner in collaboration with the support teams and other relevant teams
Forecast sales trends and adjust strategies, resources and campaigns accordingly
