Job Description:

The L3Harris Public Safety & Professional Communications team has an opening for a Technical Acccount Manager to join our dedicated team. The Technical Account Manager (TAM) position plays a critical role by supporting several key accounts within the designated region. The TAM monitors general system operations and acts as a first resource to customers to provide best practices and actions. Additionally, the position supports other regions from a lead technical perspective, providing teams with direction or guidance in a technical/best practices nature.

Essential Functions:

Provide weekly updates to specific customers regarding system health and or any issues occurring and or pending. Point of first contact/onsite contact for any issues and work toward problem resolutionMonitor system for activity and provide review of such, attend local monthly meetings to each agency as requiredAct as lead technical POC for any inquiries, questions, and/or issues as they relate to the associated systems and escalate to extensive support team; Source answers form within L3H resources and provides information back to customers as requestedMaintain key local relationship with designated customers on the behalf of L3Harris and funnel any relevant information to management as requiredMust be able to work on Mountain and Pacific timezonesTravel 30-40% within designated region for customer contract activities 


Qualifications:

Bachelor's with 4 years prior experience, 2 year post-secondary/AA Degree and 8 years prior experience or Graduate Degree with 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.Ability to understand different meeting environments and adjust appropriately for such (some business formal/casual to infield remote work/casual) 


Preferred Additional Skills:

Experience with Land Mobile Radio background (system level) L3Harris or similar technology type Knowledge of P25 Protocol and associated concepts General ability to create MS Excel Spreadsheets, create Power Points and Word Documents Abitliy to work through technical issues and initiate appropriate actions. Ability to display empathy with customers while working in the framework of a defined contract or processGeneral knowledge of typical LMR support equipment: Service Monitors, Multi Meters, Tera Term/Putty, and any L3H SW applications, 


In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Washington State and New York State is $64,000 - $119,000. For California, Seattle and New York City, the salary range for this role is $73,500 - $136,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
