  • Excellent communication skills verbal and written with ability to articulate messages to different audiences
  • Effective time management skills with ability to multitask and prioritise under pressure
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to devise beneficial strategies for Advanced and clients
  • Self-motivated tenacious disciplined enthusiastic and resilient individual
  • Understanding of good practices for standard repeatable deployment processes and procedures with experience in automation scripting and streamlining processes for efficiency and accuracy
  • Highly experienced in producing and analyzing reports across technical and operational disciplines from various sources
  • Experience providing technical leadership and guidance to others
  • Good knowledge around networks and security preferably from a networking background
  • Demonstrable experience in infrastructure management with various tooling
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory domains virtualization technologies like VMware vSphere and ESX and Azure
  • Working knowledge of ITIL framework for Incident Problem and Change Management
  • Capable of informal project management applying appropriate project methodology to structured reporting

What the job involves

  • Act as accountable Technical Manager for allocated customers with responsibilities in problem management change management capacity management and infrastructure availability management
  • Improve service health through continual technical innovation lifecycle management and technology roadmap
  • Conduct technical capacity and governance reporting and service review meetings to provide technical input and analysis
  • Oversee patch management security health and disaster recovery planning and scheduling
  • Maintain records of SSL certificates and ensure robust management of monitoring for services
