  • Experience in technical accounting: Particularly in the areas of pensions payroll tax and VAT.
  • Strong organizational skills: Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills: Ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly and simply.
  • Proficiency in IT: Confident user of Microsoft Office particularly Excel with experience in accounting software.
  • Analytical mindset: Ability to work methodically and logically to meet deadlines.

Day to day

  • Technical Support: Responding to email queries related to pensions payroll tax VAT and other financial matters.
  • Quality Assurance: Conducting quality checks on financial processes and outputs to ensure they meet our high standards.
  • Year-End Review: Reviewing year-end financial statements and reports.
  • Self-Assessment Review: Assisting in the review of self-assessment tax returns.
  • Collaboration: Working closely with other teams to identify areas for improvement to ensure quality is at 100% and implement system enhancements.
