Requirements
- HNC level or equivalent in a relevant aviation-related subject or recognised engineering apprenticeship with aircraft maintenance and overhaul experience
- Detailed knowledge of EAGLE/EPS is essential
- Knowledge of rotary wing aircraft is essential preferably Merlin or Wildcat
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a technical author
- Detailed knowledge of supportability and air publication specifications including ASD S1000D Def-Stan 00-60 and S2000M
- Good working knowledge of Simplified Technical English ASD-STE-100
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings
- Knowledge of Enovia and Catia is desirable
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work to changing deadlines under pressure
- Flexibility to work independently and as part of a team

Day to day
- Create, edit and maintain aerospace technical documents in EAGLE/EPS, including CMM, AMM and IPC publications.
- Populate illustrated parts data and produce high-quality technical documentation to agreed specifications and timelines.
- Support verification and validation activities, manage document revisions, and work closely with platform leads and other authors.
