  • Must care deeply about functional written communication.
  • Possesses both technical writing and programming capabilities.
  • Should have experience in community engagement or open-source projects.
  • Demonstrates technical curiosity and a strong grasp of software technologies.
  • Experienced with Linux command line application deployment system management and Git.
  • Has excellent written verbal communication skills and proven documentation skills.
  • Holds a BSc/BA degree or equivalent with willingness to travel for bi-annual events.

What the job involves

  • Create, maintain and improve software documentation.
  • Work with engineering team members to enhance documentation contributions.

  • Encourage and support community engagement in documentation efforts.
  • Standardize content structure presentation style and language across products.
  • Collaborate with documentation peers to advance documentation best practices.
  • Challenge and promote documentation understanding and standards within the team.
