Remote Technical Business Analyst – Trade Data Job in London, UK RE Partners

Who you are

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in trading or financial services
• Strong proficiency in Python for data analysis, automation, and scripting
• Experience with trade data analysis and understanding of trading processes
• Familiarity with JSON schema for data validation and mapping rules
• Excellent communication skills and ability to translate complex technical concepts
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

Desirables

• Understanding of financial markets products like loans, derivatives, debt
• Knowledge in corporate finance such as ledgers, balances
• Experience in regulatory reporting
• Development team experience with Kanban preferred
• Experience with both RDBMS and NoSQL databases
• Understanding JSON schema
• User-level experience with GitHub or BitBucket
• Familiarity with IDEs, VS Code preferred
