Requirements
- Experience in TIC business or fire industry, building materials, materials science, product installation, engineering, construction, product certification.
- Degree in engineering/construction-related field or relevant industry experience.
- Professional membership with an engineering institution, preferably IFE and recognition by the Engineering Council.
- Able to read and understand technical drawings, design codes, and product standards.
- Remote role within the UK.
Day to day
- Undertake analysis of results from fire resistance testing and produce product assessments.
- Judge relevance and impact of test data, provide advice, and produce technical and classification reports.
- Plan and lead scope analysis and test programs.
- Continuously develop knowledge in National, European, and International Standards.
- Lead and contribute to standards development and represent the company on committees and public platforms.
- Project manage workload from enquiry to delivery, ensuring customer care and expectation management.
