Requirements

  • Proven experience in a Technical Field Authority or field supervisory role managing client and site teams
  • Expertise in turbo services, steam turbines, or compression equipment dismantling, repair, reassembly, and re-commissioning
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for work preparation, reporting, data recording, and program management
  • Understanding of the UK turbo services supply chain
  • Experience in personnel management

Day to day

  • Assess job opportunities, develop work scope specifications, and project timelines
  • Supervise field personnel and subcontractors ensuring safety, task assignment, and quality control during activities
  • Liaise daily with clients providing progress updates and technical recommendations and adjusting plans for emergent findings
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to support tender costs and manage equipment supply
  • Lead site teams in inspections, rebuilds, equipment start-up, and re-commissioning both on-site and in workshops
  • Prepare project documentation including reports, QA packs, and recommended spares lists
