Remote Technical Game Designer Job in United States Meta

Who you are

• 8+ years of game design experience or a minimum of 2 successful shipped titles
• Experience with coding in Unity with C# or C++
• Experience in leading end-to-end development and designing games from concept to launch and live ops
• Collaborative experience with cross-functional teams
• Portfolio showcasing your game design skills

Desirables

• Experience developing or designing VR or AR games
• General design knowledge across various specializations
• Experience in design strategy and executing game feel tuning
• Experience using research and data for strategy and decisions
• Experience with TypeScript

What the job involves

• You will prototype, design, and ship VR experiences for the Horizon metaverse
• Work with teams of designers, artists, and engineers to explore innovative core mechanics and game loops
• Contribute to strategic decisions, collaborating with Design and Product teams and giving real-time feedback
• Oversee the implementation of the user experience from concept to launch and provide post-launch design support
• Help build an inclusive game design community within Reality Labs and Meta
