Who you are

• 2+ years experience as Data Analyst, Financial Analyst, Operations Engineering, or Data Engineering.
• Strong business and technical background with interest in growth, product, data, and scaling.
• Inquisitive nature for diving into data inconsistencies and resolving data quality issues.
• Knowledge of scientific computing language (Scala or Python) and SQL.
• Strong analytical skills for investigating, prioritizing, and identifying issues.
• Experience managing communications and workflows with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Comfortable operating independently with ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines.
• Experience managing multiple work streams, defining metrics, and reporting.

What the job involves

• Collaborate across the company to calculate Stripe fees for customers, especially for complex and strategic deals.
• Become a domain expert on Stripe’s business economics, consulting on user billing capabilities and pricing structure support.
• Introduce data and process efficiencies to meet Stripe's scale and speed needs.
• Identify and automate operational processes to increase efficiency.
• Scale the User Billing operation by driving design, documentation, and training.
