Kaya AI

First AI-Native Supply Chain Solution for Construction, revolutionizing efficiency with smarter, faster project delivery

About KayaKaya is an AI-native procurement and supply chain platform for mission-critical construction, starting with the hyperscale data centers being built for the world's largest technology companies. Our domain-trained AI knowledge worker, Amber, connects the entire value chain from procurement through last-mile delivery, tracking the long-lead equipment that decides whether a billion-dollar build lands on schedule. We are pre-seed, backed by Suffolk Technologies, Soma Capital, Barclays, and 53 Stations, and moving fast. We are building the system of record for how the world's largest infrastructure gets bought and delivered. The RoleWe are hiring a Technical Product Lead to own the supply chain side of Kaya's product. This role is deliberately half product and half engineering. You will spend as much time in the codebase and in design reviews with engineers as you do defining what to build. You do not need any prior supply chain experience. What matters is this: you can build excellent workflow, table, and collaboration software, and you can partner deeply with engineers on exactly what gets built and how. There is a large amount of SCM product still to be built, and we need someone who can go from a messy operational reality to elegant, shippable software fast. What You Will DoOwn product development for Kaya's SCM workflows and tooling.Work very closely with engineering to define, design, and ship, hands-on, not at arm's length.Build dynamic, table-based, collaboration-heavy software that operators actually want to live in.Translate messy operational needs into elegant, intuitive product experiences.Drive execution across a large and growing surface of product that still needs to be built.Make the hard technical and design tradeoffs alongside engineers and stand behind them.Who You AreHighly technical. You can read the code, reason about the architecture, and hold your own in any engineering conversation.A builder of collaborative and table-based software. You have shipped products in the spirit of Monday.com, Smartsheet, Airtable, Rippling, or Notion and Notion AI.Experienced building one or more of the following:Collaborative workflow toolsSpreadsheet-like or table-based productsInternal tools or operational softwareAI-enhanced workflow productsProduct-minded with strong taste for how software should feel, especially data-dense, workflow-heavy software.High ownership, execution-first, and comfortable in the ambiguity of an early-stage startup.A strong partner to engineers. They should want to build with you.Ideal BackgroundThe strongest candidates have built collaborative, table-based, or workflow software and worked hand in hand with engineering to ship it. Backgrounds that map well:Technical PMs, founding engineers, or PM-engineer hybrids from products like Monday.com, Smartsheet, Airtable, Rippling, or Notion and Notion AI.Builders who have shipped collaborative workflow tools, spreadsheet-like or table-based products, internal or operational software, or AI-enhanced workflow products.Early product or engineering hires at a startup who owned a product surface end to end and shipped it themselves.Anyone who has turned a messy, data-heavy operational problem into software that people genuinely enjoy using. No supply chain or construction experience required. What you have built and how deeply you can partner with engineering matter most. What Success Looks LikeIn 30 days: you understand the SCM workflows and the codebase, and you are already shipping alongside engineering. In 90 days: the SCM product surface is materially better and moving faster, with a clear build plan and a real shipping rhythm. In 6 months: Kaya's SCM tooling is best-in-class collaborative software that operators rely on daily, and you are the reason it got there. Why This Role Matters NowSupply chain management is where a huge amount of Kaya's product still needs to be built, and it is the surface where operators do their real work. That work lives in tables, workflows, and collaboration, which is precisely the software the best builders from Monday.com, Smartsheet, Airtable, Rippling, and Notion know how to make. We need one of those builders, embedded with engineering, turning operational chaos into product that feels effortless. If that is what you do, this is your role. How to ApplyShow us the best collaborative or table-based product you have built, the hardest technical or design tradeoff you made, and how closely you worked with engineering to ship it. We care about what you have built, not where you worked.
