Who you are

  • Possess an HNC in Engineering or related field
  • Have proven experience as a Remote Support Engineer or in supporting engineers/customers remotely
  • Strong technical knowledge in the medical device industry specifically ultrasound
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage and coordinate activities with external partner field service engineers
  • Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written
  • Proficiency in using remote access tools and diagnostic equipment



What the job involves

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers in your region
  • Manage service incidents and create and allocate tickets in the Service Management System
  • Pre-clarify customer issues and provide remote technical assistance
  • Determine if on-site intervention is required
  • Offer remote guidance to customers and instruct onsite partner field engineers
  • Utilize remote access tools and diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems
  • Create quotes and cost estimates for customers requiring in-field actions
