Requirements

- Ability to obtain a Public Trust
- 2-3 years of consecutive experience editing scientific manuscripts
- Knowledge of tracking features in Word
- In-depth knowledge of eXtyles manuscript processing
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of an editorial team
Day to day
- Read, edit, and rewrite scientific manuscripts and supplemental materials for publication
- Collaborate with authors to clarify ideas and strengthen manuscript structure
- Identify inconsistencies and content errors, and edit manuscripts and proof articles across Word and HTML formats
