Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent with five years of experience including two years in aviation regulatory documentation
- Bachelor's degree and five years of technical writing experience for Senior Technical Writer/Editor
- At least two years of the total experience must involve FAA aviation regulatory documentation for Senior Technical Writer/Editor
- U.S. Citizen or Green Card Permanent Resident with minimum 3+ years U.S. residency
- Public Trust approval

Day to day
- Develop, draft, revise, and edit technical documentation for FAA Aviation Safety programs and NAS initiatives
- Translate complex aviation, operational, and regulatory information into clear products for Government industry and public audiences
- Support technical communications outreach materials and accessibility-focused documentation across multiple formats and stakeholders
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and multidisciplinary teams to produce accurate high-quality mission support products
