Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent study in English communications technology technical writing or a related field
- Minimum six years of technical writing experience with military specifications standards and technical manuals
- Experience using Adobe Suite FrameMaker Illustrator Photoshop and Adobe Acrobat for technical writing and document support
- Experience developing updating and QA reviewing technical publications using FrameMaker templates and XML/SGML content management
- Experience managing large manual volumes master pages cross references and conditional text for multiple equipment configurations
- Experience standardizing graphics to military specification requirements including line weights scaling and formatting
- Experience optimizing images by cropping cleaning and adjusting engineering or field imagery for print and digital quality
- Experience documenting planning and supporting technical proposals presentations and highly technical content
- Experience processing TMSDRs IRACs and CDRLs
- Must be a US citizen

Day to day
- Support technical publication sustainment for the F5 Adversary FST using FrameMaker and the Adobe Creative Suite
- Produce technical manual changes modified revisions conversions and new manual content for NAVAIR aircraft systems documentation
- Create and edit illustrations graphics and wiring diagrams while performing detailed QA reviews for compliance accuracy consistency and usability
- Prepare PDF conversions linking and bookmarking in line with NATEC guidelines and coordinate closely with the technical lead to maintain delivery quality
- May assist with workload coordination training and tracking deliverables to ensure timely completion
