Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5–8+ years of technical writing experience or 3–5+ years with strong utility or industrial field operations exposure
- Proven experience producing technical procedural or process documentation
- Ability to translate complex technical input into plain field usable language
- Strong facilitation skills for SME working sessions
- Experience working in utilities energy construction manufacturing or industrial environments
- Strong organizational writing and version control discipline
- Comfort working collaboratively across organizational units
- Experience with Microsoft Word Excel PowerPoint Photo Editing Software SharePoint OneDrive Acrobat Outlook Teams Visio and Co-Pilot

Day to day
- Design, draft, and maintain field-ready technical documentation for utility operations, including process maps, SOPs, job aids, manuals, and videos
- Collaborate with SMEs, reviewers, advisors, and project leads to gather technical input and translate complex work practices into clear practical documentation
- Research policies materials and vendor inputs validate deliverables and support governance review and approval workflows
- Perform onsite job walks coordinate media content and maintain documentation for process changes safety workstreams and pilot projects
