What the job involves

• Responsible for creating application and system documentation for users and developers
• Work with BAs BSAs and Project Managers to help create project specifications as needed
• Interview programmers to better understand how an application functions both internally and externally
• Write documentation based on interviews to help users understand how to use the application and to help programmers get up to speed on how the application interacts internally
• Disseminate between and evaluate conflicting information from varying sources
• Research technical topics to supplement technical documentation
• Possess a solid understanding of application programming application usage cases and database systems
• Help prioritize documentation projects by giving good feedback to any PMs or BSAs associated with the project
• Communicate using good judgment and politeness with stakeholders and programmers
• Organize documentation for easy access using Confluence JIRA and other tools
• Perform other duties as assigned
