Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in English Communications Technical Writing or related field or equivalent experience
- 3-5+ years technical writing experience preferably in fintech or regulated industries or 7 years technical writing experience preferably in fintech or regulated industries
- Ability to obtain VA Public Trust Clearance
- Strong ability to understand and explain complex technical systems
- Experience writing API documentation and developer-facing content
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Adobe writing and editing capabilities
- Proficient in Confluence and SharePoint documentation and knowledge base systems
- Proficient in Markdown editors and Git/GitHub/GitLab for technical tools and version control
- Excellent writing editing and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to simplify complex information for diverse audiences
- Strong collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Structured thinking and content organization
- Adaptability in fast-paced regulated environments
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook

Day to day
- Create and maintain clear technical documentation for mortgage and fintech systems, including LOS, POS, servicing platforms, user guides, API docs, and knowledge base articles.
- Translate complex technical and regulatory concepts into concise content for internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, compliance, and business teams to document features, support releases, and improve documentation quality and usability.
