Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Cybersecurity Computer Science or Information Technology
  • Basic understanding of networking operating systems and common cyber attack methods
  • Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python and basic query languages
  • Strong analytical thinking curiosity and ability to explain technical findings
  • Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK highly preferred

Day to day

  • Assist senior threat hunters in proactively searching endpoints and networks for hidden threats and stealthy malware
  • Review security logs and telemetry to identify anomalies indicators of compromise and suspicious behavior
  • Help create test and write threat detection rules and support reporting on hunt findings and attacker tactics
