Remote UK Mechanical Presales Engineer Job in UK Maya HTT

Who you are

• A degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or equivalent
• Knowledge of structural mechanics and finite element concepts; these may include static, dynamic, nonlinear, durability, vibro-acoustics, laminates, thermo-mechanically-coupled simulations and optimisation
• Experience with structural solvers such as Nastran, ANSYS or ABAQUS
• Experienced user of CAD tools, with NX experience a plus
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strong interpersonal skills, ownership, communication skills and problem-solving capabilities
• The ability to work as an individual contributor or as a team member
• English proficiency
• Availability to travel

• Software Presales Experience
• Experience with Systems modelling
• CFD and PLM
• French proficiency
• Experience with some of the following vendor products: Siemens, Dassault, PTC, Ansys, Hexagon and Altair

• Support Mechanical Pre-sales Engagements
• Support Mechanical Engineering simulation services work for various industries
• Provide software support to our customers while establishing a friendly, collaborative rapport
• Troubleshoot user models and recommend best practices and modelling guidelines
• Provide software training to our customers
• Maintain broad and up-to-date knowledge of Maya HTT's product portfolio and solutions
• Present at tradeshows, webinars, and conferences
