Who you are

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field (Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Sociology)
• Proven User Researcher experience in public sector context
• Familiar with GDS standards and guiding services through assessments
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Proactive approach to user-centred design

What the job involves

• Represent the voice of the user throughout product development lifecycle
• Guide digital services through Government Digital Service (GDS) assessments from Discovery to Live
• Approach user engagement design-led
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including Product Managers, Content Designers, and Interaction Designers
• Integrate user research insights into product development
• Analyse research data to inform decision-making
• Foster consensus among colleagues
• Commit to inclusive research practices for diverse public sector users
• Include users from various backgrounds in research activities
• Select and apply appropriate research methods based on project requirements
