Requirements

  • Significant experience in valuation, particularly with respect to delivering and managing valuation projects, ideally gained within a professional services firm.
  • Strong proficiency in various valuation techniques and the ability to interpret financial statements.
  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to understand the internal and external drivers of value for a given asset.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and Excel modelling skills.
  • Experience in team management and a proven track record of developing others.
  • Professional qualification in accountancy or a related financial discipline (e.g., Chartered Accountancy qualification or CFA).

Day to day

  • Lead and manage valuation projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and to the highest standards.
  • Conduct comprehensive technical valuation analyses for various purposes, employing a range of techniques, including discounted cash flow, multiples analysis, and intangible asset valuation.
  • Manage and mentor team members, fostering an environment of learning and professional development.
  • Work closely with senior management and directors to develop and execute strategies that enhance our service delivery.
  • Play a key role in business development activities, identifying opportunities to offer additional services to our clients.
