Requirements
- Prior experience in high-volume call centers or customer service roles in veterinary hospice funeral assistant or medical environments
- Reliable wired Ethernet internet connection required; satellite internet and 4G/5G hotspots are not supported
- Ability to quickly learn and navigate Google Workspace scheduling systems phone systems Zoom and internal communication tools
- Comfortable working independently with minimal peer interaction
- Strong attention to detail adaptability and ability to exceed expectations
- Dependable punctual and able to attend every scheduled shift and meeting
- Ability to complete a mandatory 2-week training program at the start of employment
- Ability to sit for extended periods and work continuously on a computer and keyboard
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds as needed

Day to day
- Handle a high volume of inbound calls in a remote work-from-home environment
- Compassionately guide families through emotionally charged conversations about in-home euthanasia hospice palliative care and quality-of-life concerns
- Accurately collect document and schedule pet family and medical information using multiple software platforms
- Collaborate with veterinarians and leadership to provide seamless empathetic support and maintain high service standards
