Requirements
- Previous experience in finance accountancy or bookkeeping
- Confident with numbers and able to take the lead on the group’s finances
- Confident computer and email skills open to using new systems and other digital tools
- Commitment to the wider charity’s aims and values
- Contribute to balanced decisions that take into account multiple views in a collaborative open and inclusive way with committee and local staff
Day to day
- Help manage finances of the groups making sure they are spent effectively for people living with Parkinson's
- Keep track of the funds the group holds working with staff and volunteers to report on the groups financial activity as required
- Build existing connections and meet new people in your local area all while making a difference to those living with Parkinson's
- Parkinson's UK groups offer friendship support and numerous activities to people affected by Parkinson's
- The group meets each month but many of our volunteers undertake parts of their roles from home - at a time that suits you
