- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Regular access to a computer and experience of using email and Microsoft office or GSuite
- Experience at writing press releases and news articles
- Enthusiasm and a keenness to learn more about Parkinson's UK
What the job involves
- Promoting activities through leaflets and posters the group / activity web page and in the local media
- Supporting the group / activity and other volunteers to gather information about upcoming events and activities and write them up in a concise attractive way to be used in publicity
- Developing ways to promote the group / activity including leaflets and posters local media online and social media
- Producing editing and collecting content for the group / activity newsletter.
