Who you are

• Experience in Public relations, communications, or journalism
• Writing and editing press releases and other media content
• Media relations, including pitching stories and securing media coverage
• Working with social media platforms and understanding their role in PR
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

What the job involves

• Develop and execute public relations strategies to increase awareness of our charity’s mission
• Write and distribute press releases, articles, and other media materials
• Build and maintain relationships with journalists, bloggers, and influencers
• Manage and respond to media inquiries in a timely and professional manner
• Assist in organizing and promoting charity events and campaigns
• Collaborate with our social media and marketing teams to ensure cohesive messaging across all platforms
