Merry Moos Farm Project is a social enterprise trading as a community interest company not for profit. Our aim is to establish a working farm and animal sanctuary in Dorset that serves the community by encouraging individuals to benefit mentally and physically from experiencing farm life, and to provide animals a haven of love and safety. When our project becomes a reality we would like to work with a range of people. Our aim is to work with groups and organisations including those that work with ex-service personnel, those aged 60 plus, adults with physical disabilities, adults with learning disabilities executives and their employees. We believe in social prescriptions where, instead of being prescribed tablets by the doctor the individual could ask to have a prescription written to allow them to access activities, such as those at our farm and animal sanctuary, that would help them to improve their well-being. The working farm will include animals, birds, plants and bees, with a clear eye on nature and biodiversity. We are currently raising funds to set up the farm and animal sanctuary.

We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in marketing who can help Merry Moos Farm Project Market our crowdfunding page in order to raise the capital needed for this project to happen.

What difference will you make?

The impact will be enormous if we can raise some of the funding required, which would reduce the amount that the project would have to borrow. For well-being social isolation physical health and we also support social prescription. It is going to help a huge number of people across Dorset. The clients will be from 60-to 85 plus as there is nothing out there to allow this group to take advantage of the outdoor activities that will be provided we also hope to work with EX-service personnel and their organization's physically disabled and adults with learning difficulties along with executives and their employees who are all suffering from well-being issues since Covid. There will also be a large animal sanctuary onsite for the clients to get involved with them it's been well-documented that even a hug or a pat will help someone's well-being It will also provide a haven for animals that are in need of a loving home.

What are we looking for?

Marketing strategy crowdfunding skills will be required to have at least 5 years experience to be able to promote the crowdfunding page that will generate a strong engagement with the public Social media marketing will need at least 5 years of experience to know the best places where the campaign will succeed should have experience with Facebook Twitter Linkedln Instagram and even tiktok.

What will you be doing?

The volunteer will be required to come up with a marketing strategy on how best to market the crowdfunding page and then implement it. This requires someone with a strong background in marketing who has the conference and can work on their own.
