Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required advanced degree a plus
- 10+ years of progressive fundraising experience with at least 5 years in corporate partnerships or major gifts
- Success closing seven-figure corporate gifts and managing complex multi-stakeholder partnerships
- Experience building and leading high-performing fundraising teams
- Ability to engage and influence C-suite executives board members and senior leadership
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for proposals briefings and stewardship materials
- Highly organized self-directed and comfortable leading through ambiguity
- Deep commitment to ethical fundraising practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Raiser's Edge or comparable CRM and project management tools
- Commitment to diversity equity inclusion and accessibility
- Willingness to travel locally regionally and nationally
- Passion for the mission vision and culture of American Forests

Day to day
- Lead the vision strategy and execution of a corporate fundraising program that drives ambitious revenue growth
- Build and steward a high-value portfolio of corporate partners and prospects with a focus on transformational gifts
- Develop tailored engagement strategies proposals and stewardship materials while collaborating with executive leadership and cross-functional teams
