Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance Accounting Economics or related field
- 10+ years of financial leadership experience
- Hands-on financial planning and analysis experience
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
- People management experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
- Knowledge of accounting principles and financial statement analysis
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- 5+ years as VP Finance or CFO preferred
- Experience building multi-scenario financial models and multi-year plans
- Experience leading finance or operations teams
- Experience with stakeholders and Board relationships
- Experience optimizing finance structures and processes
- Experience with financing techniques debt management and endowment management

Day to day
- Lead the university’s finance, financial aid, and administration functions as an integrated system that supports growth and mission delivery.
- Build rigorous financial models, multi-year scenario plans, and budget frameworks that guide strategic decisions and resource allocation.
- Develop and coach teams, strengthen operations, and ensure compliance, controls, and legal-administrative processes are effective and scalable.
