Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or other certification in finance accounting or related field
- CPA certification MAC and/or MBA preferred
- Thorough knowledge of GAAP and FASB topics as applied to nonprofits
- Familiarity with nonprofit finance and accounting regulations
- High level of financial and analytical skills
- Extensive knowledge of financial policies practices and nonprofit systems
- Minimum of 10 years relevant experience including nonprofit environment
- At least 5 years managerial experience leading and mentoring staff in a high-growth environment
- Proven track record in planning financial management and operational oversight
- Strong interest in and commitment to Active Minds mission
- Quickbooks Online experience required
- ERP and other accounting software experience a plus
- Salesforce experience a plus

Day to day
- Lead the organization’s accounting and financial reporting with responsibility for budgeting audit preparation and ongoing performance monitoring
- Oversee technology and business operations by guiding teams policies systems and cross-functional priorities to keep staff supported and efficient
- Provide executive leadership to finance technology and operations teams while advising senior leadership and the Board on financial strategy and operational improvements
