Workday Financials Consultant

Day to day

• Lead the end-to-end implementation of Workday Financials Record to Report (R2R) or Procure-to-pay (P2P) workstream including planning configuration testing and deployment
• Reinforces company policies and procedures to others
• Helps others by driving organizing and assigning tasks within a project workstream in order to drive efficient completion and achieve project goals
• Collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements and translate them into effective Workday Financials configurations supporting them through all phases within the project
• Perform multiple tasks under limited direction while regularly keeping the client the project team and the Engagement Manager abreast of changes or progress related to the project
• Willingness to take a leadership position on a project or as a Cognizant or Workday product Partner Lead and/or Delivery Assurance Reviewer
• Display your hands-on expertise of the software including loading client data moving configuration from tenant to tenant and configuring business processes and security
• Utilize your technical aptitude to convert and map data sources into data conversion templates
• Act as a mentor to fellow consultants and analysts including providing support for shadow assignments
• Actively participate in update training and internal opportunities to share one’s skills and learnings with others within the organization
