 Work with engineers to execute the design analysis and evaluation of turbomachinery components using sound engineering principles while meeting industry standards and program requirements.  Create definitions of parts modules and assemblies in various formats to support analysis manufacturing and assembly.  Provide quality checks to eliminate interferences and ensure interface requirements are met.  Perform reverse engineering by using scan data and creating new part models using parametric modeling.  Ensure product designs follow standards for Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing.  Support design reviews and collaborate with other disciplines in design performance controls and system integration.  Participate in the research and development of technologies and methodologies associated with additive design.  Advise on ways to improve product design through the exploitation of additive manufacturing.  Role will initially be an individual contributor comfortable working in a dynamic self-directed start-up environment with the potential for future team leadership.  Assure proper documentation of technical data generated consistent with engineering best practices.
