Requirements
- 4–8+ years as a software or AI engineer with experience shipping 0 to 1 products or features in startup-like environments
- Strong Python skills and comfort with TypeScript plus the ability to build production services and integrate with external systems and APIs
- Proven experience taking LLM or agent systems to production including tool use function calling planning execution and retrieval augmented generation
- Hands-on experience with evaluation prompt engineering tracing and observability for AI systems
- Familiarity with vector databases search embeddings and context retrieval patterns
- Solid backend fundamentals including services queues data models CI/CD and cloud
- Excellent communication and product sense to turn fuzzy business problems into clear technical plans and measurable outcomes
- Comfort with ambiguity crisp prioritization and the judgment to ship small safe increments quickly

Day to day
- Rapidly prototype AI agents and guided workflows that solve concrete customer problems and deliver thin slices into production quickly
- Design and implement cloud-native backend services that orchestrate prompts tools retrieval and automations while owning the path from POC to production
- Build robust retrieval for LLMs in partnership with data engineering and establish evaluation loops to improve quality safety and reliability
- Collaborate closely with product design customers and internal stakeholders to frame problems define success metrics and translate insights into productizable solutions
