Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional software engineering experience
  • Engineering background in Computer Science Mathematics Software Engineering Physics or Data Science
  • Proficiency in one or more languages such as Python C++ Java or TypeScript JavaScript
  • Demonstrable ability to combine AI toolchains to build production systems
  • Comfortable working solo with non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to translate ambiguous business problems into technical work
  • Understanding of data structures storage systems cloud infrastructure UX frameworks and tools
  • Comprehensive understanding of the current AI landscape
  • Willingness to travel to XPS sites across the UK
  • Right to work in the UK

Day to day

  • Embed with business teams to understand end-to-end workflows across multiple business areas
  • Own delivery from scoping through build testing and live running using AI tools to move quickly
  • Build bespoke integrations data pipelines and user-facing tools while translating ambiguous needs into production software
  • Feed field learnings back into the core product and help shape the roadmap with first-hand evidence
