Requirements
- 4+ years Mobile software engineering experience
- At least 2 years Kotlin-Android software engineering experience
- Strong communication and cross-functional partnership skills
- Experience with Android testing frameworks and best practices
- Familiarity with mobile infrastructure such as CI/CD, automated test environments, build & release systems
- Experience in constructing platform and common components
- Self-driven mindset
Nice to have
- High-quality code delivery
- Strong knowledge of Compose, GraphQL
- Proficiency with MVVM architecture
- Familiarity with analytics and monitoring tools
- Comfortable setting team milestones and deliverables
Day to day
- Develop features & functionality for Gusto's native Android app
- Own and scale shared services
- Work closely with partner teams such as product-apps, security, system design, and infrastructure
- Build, test, and refine core services like push-notification system, localization, etc
- Improve and maintain mobile infrastructure, including build-pipelines, testing automation, release process
- Collaborate with product management, design, and mobile product engineering teams to resolve technical and customer pain points
