Requirements
- 7+ years of software engineering experience with hands-on coding and architecture design
- 2+ years managing distributed software engineering teams
- Strong C# and .NET experience including ASP.NET Core Web APIs
- Experience with relational databases and Entity Framework
- Strong Azure experience including Functions Queues Event Hub Service Bus and App Services
- Proven ability to deliver complex projects over months of development
- Experience coaching and mentoring engineers at various levels
- Comfort moving between 1-on-1s and pull request reviews effectively
- Experience using modern AI-assisted development tools to improve workflows
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Day to day
- Lead an API engineering team building and maintaining core services for cross-border payments and partner integrations.
- Write, review, and ship production C# and .NET code daily while shaping API architecture, reliability, and scalability.
- Guide incident response, improve developer experience, and coach engineers through hands-on mentoring, standards, and process improvements.
