Requirements
- Strong background in application security with hands-on threat modelling secure design review vulnerability management and security automation
- Meaningful people management experience including hiring growing and performance managing security engineers
- Strong communication skills across technical leadership and cross-functional stakeholders
- Very comfortable with Python and JavaScript
- Experience with AWS and or GCP from a cloud infrastructure perspective
- Experience with GitHub Actions
- Experience leading or significantly contributing to an AppSec programme in a fast-growing SaaS or AI company
- Clear point of view on AI-native security engineering and the security implications of LLMs and agentic tools
- Experience working in a mature engineering culture and embedding security collaboratively

Day to day
- Lead and grow a senior AppSec team while creating a high-autonomy environment that enables excellent security work.
- Shape AppSec strategy and roadmap by translating business risk engineering context and team input into measurable priorities.
- Partner deeply with engineering leadership platform teams legal moderation and broader security stakeholders to embed security into product development and AI-assisted workflows.
