Who you are

• Prior experience building scalable design systems and processes
• Comfortable pushing back rationally and helping to establish consensus
• Strong clear communicator skilled at soliciting feedback
• Curious about the business goals associated with your work and feel that a deep understanding of our product is essential for telling our brand story
• Experience working with an array of digital and print assets including landing pages ads events blog covers emails etc
• Self-motivated natural problem solver who can flag opportunities for outsourcing delegation
• Comfortable providing guidance and creative direction when working with contractors or agencies
• Comfortable owning projects from kickoff through completion and collaborating with others
• 7+ years experience building visual brand at tech companies
• 2+ years experience in startup environments as a brand designer art director
• Strong portfolio showcasing brand experience across a range of mediums
• Ability to own projects from start to finish
• Strong writing skills because we’re a documentation-first company
• Excellence in typography color layout and composition
• Strong skills around critical thinking and storytelling
• Proficiency in Figma & Adobe Creative Suite
• Keen understanding of design principles and current web technologies

What the job involves

• Conceptualize and craft a variety of creative solutions across many mediums and surfaces including our website social channels and events delegating to contractors as necessary
• Lead brand design efforts partnering with our VP of Marketing and Director of Design
• Support our 3 wonderful product designers meeting weekly to share work with fellow designers and collaborate on a universal design system
• Work closely with the marketing team to help us scale our design efforts while maintaining a high bar for quality and consistency
• Highly collaborative role ensuring smart experienced peers will help achieve the best work of your career
