Requirements
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience with strong backend focus, preferably in Python
- Proven experience building production LLM or AI applications such as RAG or agents
- Solid understanding of embeddings vector and hybrid search prompt engineering tool calling and evaluation
- Strong backend fundamentals including API design asynchronous programming databases and distributed systems
- Comfort learning new languages frameworks and runtimes as the platform evolves
- Working familiarity with containers and Kubernetes for deploying and debugging model-serving workloads
- Experience leading technical initiatives and mentoring engineers
- Comfortable working in Agile distributed teams

Day to day
- Design and build production LLM applications, including conversational agents, RAG and GraphRAG retrieval, and natural-language interfaces over enterprise data.
- Engineer agentic services with tool calling, multi-step reasoning, conversation memory, and streaming responses that are reliable and explainable.
- Evaluate and benchmark foundation and embedding models, including self-hosted open models, and translate model choices into production-ready configurations.
