What the job involves

  • Maximize the number of contracted providers. Manage contracting processes using supplied data to call providers, establish relationships, and initiate contracting discussions. Utilize client-provided marketing materials, negotiate rates within client-provided range, and manage terms of the agreement.
  • Submit completed contracts, ensuring all necessary documentation and information are included. Follow up with colleagues and clients to keep contracts moving forward. Capture activities in the prospect record, including detailed notes for every outreach, update contract statuses, and update provider demographics as appropriate.
  • Provide feedback from prospective and newly contracted providers to the client. Perform problem analysis, identify solutions, and engage client stakeholders when necessary. Inform providers of the client's credentialing processes and requirements, and escalate and follow-up on redlines and other provider requests.
