Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in a Product Management function scaling new or existing products
- In-depth technical background and ability to translate complex topics into digestible solutions
- Experience in product strategy, roadmap planning, and execution
- Ability to create metrics, establish goals with a Data team, and prioritize roadmap accordingly
- Collaboration cross-functionally and take ownership of decision-making for product
- Understanding customer needs and partnering with data, research, and design to quantify and qualify ideas
Day to day
- Building and improving the experience on Newsela
- Identify opportunities, track performance and drive the largest impact
- Enhance the capabilities within the product and work cross-functionally to launch and maintain features
- Contribute to the vision, strategy, and roadmap of features for the Product Management team to drive Newsela’s business goals
- Leverage research and data to understand the opportunities to create a meaningful and impactful experience for our users
