Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Information Systems Computer Engineering or related field or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years administering and supporting Microsoft Azure in production environments
  • Experience with Azure infrastructure networking compute storage backup disaster recovery and identity services
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration and security capabilities including Entra ID Conditional Access multifactor authentication and RBAC
  • Experience with monitoring and operational tools such as Azure Monitor Log Analytics alerting platforms and service management systems
  • Experience supporting endpoint security and cloud operations technologies such as Intune Defender for Cloud or Sentinel is preferred
  • Knowledge of IT service management practices including incident problem change and request management
  • Ability to document environments processes standards and technical procedures accurately and consistently
  • Experience with scripting or automation using PowerShell Azure CLI or similar tools
  • Familiarity with infrastructure as code concepts such as Bicep ARM or Terraform is a plus
  • Ability to assess environments identify risks and recommend improvements related to availability security performance and cost optimization
  • Strong client-facing communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly
  • Ability to manage priorities execute deliverables with limited oversight and contribute in a fast-paced managed services environment

Day to day

  • Deliver proactive operational support for managed Azure Microsoft 365 and hybrid customer environments in a 24x7x365 service model
  • Administer monitor maintain and optimize cloud infrastructure with a strong focus on availability security automation performance and resilience
  • Serve as an escalation resource for complex incidents drive root cause analysis and support documented standards procedures and best practices
