Requirements
- 8–15 years of backend development experience with APIs and microservices
- Hands-on Kotlin development for medium to complex service APIs
- Working knowledge of Kafka integration with API services
- Experience integrating API services with databases for read and write operations
- Ability to create conceptual logical and physical data models
- Ability to write simple to medium complexity DML SQL queries and understand existing queries
- Experience mentoring and managing junior engineers
- Experience working in an Agile Scrum team
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or related field preferred

Day to day
- Design and build scalable backend services using Kotlin, Spring Boot, and Kafka.
- Translate business and system needs into clear service specifications, data models, and database scripts.
- Mentor a small team of junior engineers while contributing hands-on code, reviews, testing, and observability work.
