Remote Back End Developer (Rails) Job in UK Gleanin

Who you are

• Based in the south east of the UK with full rights to work in the UK
• At least 4 years of experience with Ruby on Rails development
• Experience working with a large, production application
• Confident using Git and Agile development methodologies
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Highly organised, pro-active and happy to work unsupervised
• Team player who is comfortable working as part of a fully remote organisation

What the job involves

• Develop and maintain Gleanin's API using Ruby on Rails
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code and tests, following best practices and coding standards
• Collaborate within the product team to design new features and functionality
• Review pull requests for quality and correctness
• Develop and maintain Javascript integrations with third-party providers
• Resolve service tickets
• Develop a deep understanding of our product
• Actively participate in 1:1s and Sprint meetings
• Attend team meetings in London once per month (we pay travel).
