Requirements
- 2+ years of engineering experience in JavaScript/TypeScript
- Experience writing stable high-quality code for high-traffic production environments
- Ability to design REST APIs that other developers enjoy using
- Up-to-date knowledge of cloud vendors such as AWS or GCP
- Experience writing and maintaining unit and integration tests
- Knowledge of serverless architecture is a plus
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code frameworks such as Serverless
- Ability to think at a high level about product strategy and vision
- Self-motivated and able to run with a project without close supervision
- Ability to work well with diverse stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills

Day to day
- Own and maintain backend projects across a broad range of products and services for Barstool Sports.
- Build and enhance APIs that support the cross-platform experience for users and editorial staff.
- Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to solve problems, ship features, and support a fast-moving media environment.
