Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent practical experience
  • 5+ years of backend development experience with Java Go Python Node.js or similar
  • 3+ years of experience with Kotlin or other JVM languages
  • Experience with asynchronous event-based systems such as SQS Kafka or PubSub
  • Experience shipping production-grade code with AI coding tools
  • Ability to work collaboratively on architecture tradeoffs and code reviews

Day to day

  • Build and ship backend features end to end with supporting infrastructure and a frontend skeleton when needed.
  • Work cross-functionally with product design sales and customer-facing teammates to clarify requirements and deliver thoughtful solutions.
  • Lead tradeoff discussions and architecture reviews while writing high-quality extensible code that scales effectively.
