Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree plus minimum five years work experience
  • 3–5 years of progressive software engineering experience
  • Proficiency in Python
  • Ability to build and maintain APIs
  • Familiarity with React modern JavaScript/TypeScript
  • Experience with relational databases and Git
  • Experience with CI/CD workflows
  • Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP
  • Basic containerization knowledge

Day to day

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable backend APIs and services for data-intensive financial applications
  • Work with transactional and time-series data pipelines to improve accuracy, performance, reliability, and observability
  • Contribute to React front-end features when needed and collaborate with product and design to deliver cohesive user experiences
  • Own features from design through deployment while writing clean maintainable and well-tested code
  • Participate in code reviews and help improve development workflows standards and backend logic for auditability
